Act accordingly, please

I want to teach you right from wrong. I want you to learn, now, how to act so that when you are older and get more of a say in how you behave, you will know where you came from, what we expect, and how to act acceptably. I hope we teach you well enough to choose the right behavior; I know you won’t always. And, when you don’t, if we’ve taught you how I hope we’ll teach you, you’ll learn from you’re your mistakes, you’ll make better choices next time and you’ll know that we always love you.
